The Purpose of Tideswell Photos (TP) is to help to promote the village of Tideswell by providing a comprehensive professional photographic record of all activities, associations, groups and key events in the village throughout the year(s). These images are free to all Tideswell non-profit groups to assist in their own publicity.
Events covered include. Tideswell Food Festival, Tideswell Arts, Wakes Week, Hidden Gems Of St John's, TDCA bonfire and fireworks.

TP's aim is to support non-profit groups by allowing them free use of images to promote their activities, and to fund raise through the sale of prints, a minimum of 50% of the profit on sales goes to associated groups, so please support us!

There are a number of activities organised by our Wakes committee during this week long celebration, culminating in Big Saturday with its carnival. The images on this page are a small selection of all subjects covered dating back to 2014.

Arts
Apart from the Tideswell arts festival, the village has a host of other arts related activities, including exhibitions, plays, recitals and our very own 'Last Night Of The Proms in September featuring our very own and much loved/appreciated Tideswell Band.

Food
Our Food festival is always held on the last Saturday in April preceding the first May bank holiday.
Since it first started in 2012 it has expanded year on year becoming more popular each year.
Here you can sample food as it is meant to be, local producers and suppliers of artisan wines, ales, hand-made pies, wonderful breads, and food-on-the-go and food stalls from all over the country.

Introduction To Tideswell Photos
Starting in 2014 local resident and professional photographer Bernard O'Sullivan (IOP) has comprehensively recorded most key activities in Tideswell, including Wakes week, The Arts Festival, The Food Festival, TDCA events, and Hidden Gems of St John, compiling a library of over 1496 images.
PLEASE NOTE: This site is still relatively young, so I would ask you to bear with me while I correct any errors, amend text, and implement improvements to the site, there are a lot of improvements in the pipeline.
